Wednesday January 23rd: SOUTH WEST COUNTIES CHAMPIONSHIP - Army 2-1 Cornwall.

Cornwall opened the defence of their South West Women's Counties Championship title on Wednesday afternoon, with a disappointing 2-1 defeat to the Army at Aldershot Military Stadium.
Leanne Lapham put Cornwall ahead as they enjoyed the better of the first-half but Kim Holden bagged a brace for the hosts.
The Magpies keeper Lyndsey Williams was called into the squad, with Emma Hurworth, Alice Rae and Rose Knuckey also involved.
The next match for the Women's team is v Gloucestershire away on Wednesday 13th February.
