Sunday August 12th 2007: Friendly - Bude Town 1-18 Penzance

Both Penzance first and reserve teams enjoyed huge wins in Sunday's friendly matches, netting a massive 27 goals between them. After Oxford United pulled out due to a bereavement, the Magpies hastily arranged a game away to Bude Town, which they won 18-1 with a bare eleven players.
Becky Hall bagged a double hat-trick, there were five for Katie Barker, with Amber Grose (3) and Rose Knuckey (2) also amongst the goals.
Candice Britten, acting as the visitors stand-in keeper, pulled off two cracking saves, one tip over the bar and a diving stop.
