BLOW TO MAGPIES' TITLE HOPES
Sunday March 2nd 2008: South West League Premier Division - Cheltenham Town 4-0 Penzance
Penzance travelled to face Cheltenham in the South West Premier and crashed 4-0, their second loss to the same opposition in consecutive weeks.
The Magpies had their chances but two goals down, they conceded twice more late on.
Penzance complete their league fixtures this Sunday, with a potentially decisive clash against fellow title-challengers, Cullompton Rangers, who also again slipped to defeat. Another tight and testing game is expected, following 2-2 and 3-3 away ties, the latter an FA Cup clash which Penzance won on penalties.
Victory for Penzance would leave them hoping Cheltenham drop points or fail to surpass the Magpies' superior goal-difference. Kick-off at Penzance FC is 2pm.
