South West League Premier Division - Larkhall Athletic 0-3 Penzance

Penzance opened their league campaign at Larkhall Athletic (formerly Bath City) with a comfortable 3-0 victory. This was achieved despite travelling with a bare eleven players and a stand-in keeper.
Penzance were on top for all but a few minuted of the first-half and went in front when Amber Grose showed strength and retaining possession before squaring to Rose Knuckey for a tap-in.
Becky Hall was denied by the inside of the post, with the rebound going right across the goal but found the net with a cracking shot into the top corner.
Grose and Katie Barker both hit the crossbar, with the latter also finding the post. However, Barker did net the third goal in the second-half, coming in unchallenged from the wing to make it 3-0.
Larkhall had a couple of forrays forward later on but nothing to really trouble keeper, Lyndsey Williams.

The Magpies return to FA Women's Cup action this Sunday, with a 1st Qualifying Round tie at home to Saltash United. Kick-off at Penlee Park is 2pm.

Penzance: Williams, - Hemingway, Hurworth, Bateman, Small, - Barker, J.Lawrence, Boyd, Grose, - Knuckey, Hall.
