Sunday September 30th 2007: South West League Premier Division - Poole Town 1-11 Penzance
Penzance made the long trip to Poole Town, where they thrashed the hosts to top the South West Premier Division, with perhaps their biggest ever away league win.
The Magpies led 3-1 at the break with a below par performance, Christian Lett asked for more in the second-half in they responded by taking the score to 11-1.
Poole played a high-line in defence and many of the goals came through one-on-ones. Sarah Mansfield struck four times, Katie Barker three, Becky Hall a brace, with one each for Dani Small and Rose Knuckey.
The Magpies are home to Larkhall Athletic in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Women's Cup this Sunday. Kick-off at Penlee Park is 2pm. Victory will see Penzance travel to Cullompton or Taunton in the 3rd Qualifying Round, just a week later.
